My messages are not synchronizing across my devices. How do I set this up?

Thanks for reaching back out to us garymg,

Is your Apple Watch signed in to iCloud? On the companion iPhone, go to the Apple Watch app > tap My Watch > tap General > Apple ID, and make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID and password as the other devices. You also want to make sure that the Apple Watch is connected to Wi-Fi, or if the device supports it, cellular data. Let us know if you have any other questions, or run into further trouble.

Best regards!

garymg,

Perfect. If you're signed into the correct Apple ID already, that's expected.

In the Watch app on your paired iPhone, go to the My Watch tab at the bottom, then Messages. Double check your settings there as well, most people have "Mirror my iPhone" selected. If you have custom selected, note your settings, then change it to mirror.

After that restart both your Apple Watch and iPhone and see if your Messages sync up then.

Cheers!

Hello garymg,

If you want messages to sync on multiple devices, you'll want to enable the Messages in iCloud service.

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touchGo to Settings.Tap [your name].Tap iCloud.Turn on Messages.

On your MacOpen Messages. In the menu bar, choose Messages > Preferences.Click iMessage.Select the checkbox next to Enable Messages in iCloud.Use Messages in iCloud

Cheers!
