I have an Apple ID from when I first got my phone. Now the email associated with the Apple Id is no longer available so I am trying to change my Apple ID with the new email address. Can and how is the deal??? I have tried to fix this mess for 8 hours solid. Help!!

Make sure you sign out on all devices from the Apple ID before making the change. Then sing back in.
