Home Apps Not Responding since iOS 15.4 update

Ever since I updated my iphone 12 pro to iOS 15.4, I have lost the ability to control any HomeKit accessories linked to the Home app on the phone. I AM able to control those same accessories from my ipad pro which is still running ipad OS 15.3 and a ipod touch running an older version of the OS. I can also control them from my MacBook Air M1. I just updated the iphone 12 to iOS 15.4.1 this morning in hopes that would provide the fix, but no such luck.

Hi selectoMacsupport,

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities! You mentioned that this started happening after an iOS update, have any updates been installed for the accessories you're using? You may need to download the manufactures app to install any firmware updates.

You should also be sure that you are signed into the iCloud account that is the primary Home app user in Settings > Your Name.

Check out more information in the section titled " If your home hub isn't working as expected" in this article: Set up your HomePod, HomePod mini, Apple TV, or iPad as a home hub.

Hope that helps!
