Updating El Capitan 10.11.6 to Siera 10.12

Helo, i have an issue upgrading my OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 to Siera 10.12. When i download the dmg file and try to instal it, it pops up a window during the install and says ''you must have an 10.12 version for this to install. The thing is i am trying to instal the first version of Siera 10.12.1 and then to continue upgrading to newer versions.


Any ideas? Please let me now.

Click here and use the Sierra link. The one you found is an updater and can't be used for a full-version upgrade.
