It's happening here too. Not on all my Macs, only some of them.

Something is broken on Apple's end. If you are so inclined, tell them: Get Support

I did discover that if I go ahead and open the settings and LEAVE the sign in page open in the background,.. even without entering my pw,…. The repeating message/notifications popup stops.

Until Apple fixes it, that's what I recommend doing. There does not seem to be any effect on my ability to use any Apple products or services. Leaving that page open just stops the nags from constantly appearing.

Thanks. Update the iPhone to iOS 15.4:

Update iOS on iPhone - Apple Support

That might solve its problem, don't know about the Macs though. The only Macs exhibiting this problem are running Catalina. Macs with both earlier and later macOS versions are ok, including High Sierra as well as El Cap (corresponding to your MBA and your old iMac, respectively).

iOS 15.4 isn't giving me problems. I don't have any iPhones running iOS versions earlier than that.

That wasn’t helpful. I’ve signed into every account I have with my new information and I still get this message on my phone. In fact before I could sign in here I had to turn off my phone and turn it back on because that message kept coming up over and over and over again and I couldn’t do anything else on the phone.

I would dismiss it with hitting “not now” and it would pop right back up. My phone was useless until I turned it off turn it back on then when I dismissed the message by hitting not right now and it finally let my phone work & let me open into Safari.

this is annoying as ****, and when it happens I don’t know what’s going on if somebody’s tried to hack my account or what because I never signed out I signed in I’m on my phone next thing you know it’s telling me I gotta go in and enter my password again. In a worst-case scenario it won’t let me do anything else because that message keeps coming up every time I dismiss it.

WTF is going on?

-edit-

This happened quite frequently on my iPhone 6s running OS iOS 10. Two something,… But now I’m on the iPhone 13 running iOS 15 point whatever and this Started happening again. And it isis really starting to **** me off

Update:

This has become RIDICULOUSLY annoying. Even after signing in,.. I continue to get the message over & over & OVER! It renders my phone USELESS.

I did discover that if I go ahead and open the settings and LEAVE the sign in page open in the background,.. even without entering my pw,…. The repeating message/notifications popup stops.

Now can somebody tell me WTF is going on??? Why would this crap start up again out of the blue, on a new phone, new carrier, new IOS,…?

These are the OS versions I have going right now. I intend to keep the OS 10.11 on my old iMac so I don’t lose Photoshop functionality.

The worst of the harassment is happening on my iPhone,… (and it’s been a couple days since that happened since my last need to enter my AID PW.

But I am constantly getting messages on my other devices that I need to re-enter my Apple ID because I can’t get into iCloud or access iCloud on the laptop or desktop. And that happens on all of them. Just not over and over and over and over again like it does on my phone.
