how to get pages installed on macOS high Sierra version 10.13.6
If you never installed Pages prior to High Sierra, then there is no means to get it installed now as the current version (v11.2) requires macOS Big Sur or later. There is no direct user download of full, past installers.
However, if you have installed Pages v5 - v8.1 previously, then there is a chance you may be able to get Pages v8.1 installed into High Sierra. Launch the Mac App Store and be signed in with the same Apple ID as used to install Pages previously. Press the option key while you click the Purchases tab on the Mac App Store, and you should see Pages shown with either an install/update button. Click that. A dialog will appear informing you that you need to upgrade your Mac (because of the first sentence above). Do not click Cancel, but do accept the dialog. If you are living right, a second dialog will appear offering to install the last compatible (v8.1) version of Pages for High Sierra. If it does, you will find it in your /Applications folder along with other applications.
