Warranty on Apple products - MacBook Air

I am given to understand that Apples offer 1 year warranty on Apple products world wide.

John Lewis offers 2 year warranty on it's products.

If a product purchased from John Lewis goes wrong in the first year, can I take the product back to Apple during first year?

Many Thanks

AK

That depends on the terms of the John Lewis warranty - you will need to ask them. Some third party sellers require that you use their services and others want you to use Apple's. Some start their warranty after the original warranty and others have their warranty replace the mfr's warranty.

Having said that - does this place actually have an Apple knowledgeable repair department?
