How do I turn on MMS? I cant send a message to one person and it says that I need to enable MMS

Go to Settings/Messages and turn on MMS. If you don’t see a switch it means that your account with your carrier is not provisioned for MMS.

In order to send MMS messages (as opposed to iMessage) from your MacBook, you have to be properly linked to an iPHone. Sometimes, that link gets messed up. See here to reset everything:

I have this issue too just since I upgraded to the latest IOS and I think they removed support for MMS I can’t text anyone with android now, only Apple. Still working on this but my carrier definitely supports it. People I text with regularly are not being recognized.

The carrier is irrelevant. MMS requires both voice and data; THE SMS portion of the SMS/MMS message uses the voice channel. You can still send MMS from your iPad through your phone if you have Text Message Forwarding enabled on your iPhone.

They can block you.

I can send MMS from my iPhone, but not my iPad. They use the same carrier.

carrier is not provisioned for MMS.

what’s the solution

Why did it work just hours before and stop?? Mine worked fine and it just stopped sending MMS on my macbook. Why would that happen??
