I went to the apple store to get a new iPad, while there, they started the process. I had to leave, and as per instructions, I plugged the new machine in, made sure the Wi-Fi connexion was working and went about other things. That was 4 days ago.

I went to the apple store to get a new iPad, while there, they started the process. I had to leave, and as per instructions, I plugged the new machine in, made sure the Wi-Fi connexion was working and went about other things. That was 4 days ago.

It is still showing “an estimated 20. 6GB will be downloaded to finish restoring your apps and data”.

how do I get it moving to finish?

4 days is way too long for this to process. Are you using the transfer (old iPad to new iPad) or restore from backup (iCloud or iTunes/Finder) process to get the data to your new iPad?
