Hi i am unable to update my iphone 11 pro max to latest software. Currently its running of 15.3.1. I have tried updating using itunes as well as phone it gets stucked at verifying update then eventually cancels the update stating error in authentication. I am updating it to latest version.
Are you able to back up your phone?
You may want to consider backing up your phone via iCloud, resetting/erasing your phone and then restoring from the iCloud backup.

It's the nuclear option, so think it over carefully, you'll need to tweak some settings after the restore to personalize your phone again, but it may be worth it to get a fresh start.
I just reset my phone first. Then connected it to my mac and updated it fron their. It got updated. Thanks for suggestions

Can you borrow a Mac computer or go to an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Reseller to try to do he update? Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try to do the update?
