Siri doesn’t understand me at all.

It seems this problem was brought up on here years ago, and there’s no solution! She doesn’t understand anything I say at all, ever. Just like the many examples ppl w this issue posted, I’ll say a normal sentence or word and Siri will repeat back something completely nonsensical (and yes, my phone is older for sure, but many w the same issue he later models, and Siri used to understand me just fine!). I’ve had this issue for over 6 months—I figured I just needed updates and have ignored it for a while. I just stopped using Siri entirely. Is there really no solution?!
