iPad Mini 6 mark on screen

My iPad Mini 6 has recently started showing a mark on the screen up in the top left corner near the volume buttons. At first I thought it was a dead pixel but upon further inspection it turns white when viewing from the side, so it probably isn't.

My best guess would be a physical hole in the display that the backlight is shining through, but I really am not sure. If anyone could identify the problem that would be great. I have included an image of the side and front views.

The white dot is called "mura". It's pressure defect of the one of the internal plastic (reflective) sheets of the LCD. The other is very well to see it's not dead pixel since the shape is not the shape of pixel. It's dust/debris spec under the LCD which is super common in modern LCD manufacturing.
