I imported a PDF to Notes. I would like some of my writing to convert to typing text. Every time I try this it doesn't show on the PDF but elsewhere in the note instead. Is this possible? If so, how?

When you attach a PDF to notes, it saves it as an attachment. It is expected behavior for Notes to not mark up or edit the attachment itself. See Add photos, videos, and more to notes on iPad for more information.

Thanks for the response Vero_F1, but I have to respectfully disagree with "It is expected behavior for Notes to not mark up ... the attachment itself." You are correct that I can not edit the attachment but I can mark-up the attachment to my heart's content. The only thing I can't do, that seems to be possible in most other documents where I can use the Pencil, is have any of my annotations convert from my handwriting to typed text.
