Cannot customize List in Reminders app

In my previous phone (iphone xs), I had more color options and can change the icon of the list. I am now using iphone 13mini and have recently upgraded to ios 15.4.1

Hello nexindivlogs,

Do you happen to have an 'Upgrade' option appearing above your list of reminders in the app? If so, you'll want to select that to enable upgraded Reminders. This link has info on that: Upgrading the Reminders app in iOS 13 or later

Also, be sure to check which account you're using in Reminders. You can check which accounts are added in Settings > Reminders > Accounts. To see additional colors and other icons, you'll want to utilize iCloud here. You can similarly double-check if iCloud Reminders are on at Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Reminders.
