If you are using this in different environments with different actions going on (car, home, basement, bus, engine revving, humidity, etc), then these are the reasons of what is going on:

  • Dry, low humidity environments
  • Very windy environments
  • Moving your device in and out of your pocket
  • Jogging or exercising with your device
  • Clothes made with synthetic fibers, like nylon

They'll know more on this, what particularly is going on and why, running you through the fix.

Info on Contacting Apple:

Report this to Apple: If you are having crackling issues, and have seen this issue been going on for years through the age of the iPhone and Apple Support, then I would assume not many people have reported this bug. So, do your part. Apple will not get back to you directly, but the mare they hear of this, the more they will know what is going on, and what needs to be fixed in upcoming updates.

Update your iPhone.

If that didn’t help, then try a Hard Reset:

  1. Press volume up (quickly)
  2. Press volume down (quickly)
  3. Press and hold the power button until the Apple logo ( ) appears

If that didn’t work, it could be a hardware issue. ⚠️
