Buffalo Linkstation LS210D network backup disk and TimeMachine.

I have a new Buffalo Linkstation LS210D and it has been verified by Buffalo tech support as being properly connected to my network that my Macbook Pro 13 is on. When I try to do a TimeMachine backup, it get the message: There was a problem connecting to the server "LS210D3D0-TimeMachine". The server may not exist or it is unavailable at this time. Check the server name or IP address, check you network connection, and then try again.

I've done all that and still can't seem to get it done. I am still running High Sierra if that make any difference.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.13
