AirPods 3 mic breaks up using discord App on iPhone 12

When I am using the discord app, no matter which mic is used on AirPods I’m told that my mic continuously breaks up they only hear bits and pieces of what I say. Works fine on phone calls, zoom and google meet.

Airpods 3 Mic Not Working on Samsung S22 Airpods 3 mic not working for calls by default (same issue with whatsapp) when connected with Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Phone. Need to disconnect Bluetooth and connect back for the mic to work. I have the same issue with 2 S20's and 2 S22's, so it wasn't the phone.
