Disable/Un-sync Sleep/Wake Up Alarm on Apple Watch

I have an iPhone 11 and an apple watch Series 7. I have set the sleep/wake-up alarm on my iPhone and have use it forever to wake me in the morning (I set it away from the bed so I have to get up to turn it off). Now that I have an Apple Watch that alarm has synced from my phone to my watch, meaning I can turn off the alarm without getting out of bed. This is a problem for someone like me (I have a sleep condition that means I can take action in light sleep and don't even know it. More than once has this meant I have woken late and missed something important).

How do I un-sync my wake up alarm from my apple watch (I still want it on my phone, but not on my watch)? This seems such a simple feature but I cannot figure it out.

I have tried turning off push notifications from the clock and that didn't change it, I still got the wake-up alarm.

Hi Circe6477,

Follow these steps to change or turn off your next wake-up alarm:

Change or turn off your next wake-up alarm

1.) Open the Sleep app  on your Apple Watch.
2.) Tap your current bedtime.
3.) To set a new wake-up time, tap the wake-up time, turn the Digital Crown to set a new time, then tap the Check button.

If you don’t want your Apple Watch to wake you in the morning, turn off Alarm.

You can also open the Health app on your iPhone, tap Browse, tap Sleep, then tap Edit to change your schedule.

The changes apply only to your next wake-up alarm, after which your normal schedule resumes.

Note: You can also turn off the next wake-up alarm in the Alarms app. Just tap the alarm that appears under Sleep | Wake up, then tap Skip for Tonight.

Track your sleep with Apple Watch - Apple Support

Keep in mind that this only affects the next set alarm. If you'd like to completely disable the Sleep app on your Apple Watch, you can do so by opening the Watch app on your paired iPhone, then tap Sleep > "Don't use this Watch for Sleep."

We hope that helps.

Have a great day.
