iPad Air's internal speakers not working with an external microphone plugged in.

New iPad Air's (5th generation) internal speakers not working when using an external Blue Yeti microphone plugged into the USB-C port. This set up worked fine with my iPad 5th generation device. Why won't it work with the new iPad Air?

Using external mic in IOS (IPad pro 2017) When connecting a USB external mic to iPad through USB port (which works perfectly fine for connecting other gadgets, namely an MPK), the ipad keeps on using the internal mic, disregarding the external. The mic is working fine and is perfectly powered while connected to the USB port . Just the iPad does not seem to acknowledge nor establish an audio input to it. Is there a way to sort this issue? I was looking mainly into using the external mic with GarageBand.

IPad Air 4 doesn’t work with Rode NT USB microphone The RODE NT-USB when connected to my brand new 4th generation iPad pro through the apple usb-c to USB adapter, does not work. The adapter is brand new as well and so is the mic is less. When plugged in, it powers the mic, but the ipad doesn’t recognize the mic and is using the internal mic for recording and audio output. I’m desperate for a fix! It’s mentioned as being compatible with iPad but iPad Air is not connecting with it. This is the recommended mic for iPads.
