PowerBank type C fast charge output can't charge on iOS 15.4

Hi All,

Recently I tried to charge my iPhone 13 Pro with my Aukey and Cosmo powerbank using type C fast charge port. Before iOS 15.3 there is no issue, but after upgrade to iOS15.4, it not able charge anymore. If I use USB output there is no issue. I'm using original apple type C able and USB cable.

Can't Charge:-

Aukey and Cosmo powerbank type C fast charge output.

Able to charge:-

PowerBank USB ouput
Original Apple type C adapter.

Do you guys facing same issue? How u guys solve the issue?

Same issue. I plugged my iPhone 12 Pro in overnight using the Aukey 18w adapter I only use while traveling (and OEM USB-C to Lightening cable that came with the phone), same as I always have on the road, only to find that the battery was nearly dead in the morning. The only change has been that I upgraded to 15.4 since my last trip.

I tried charging my iPad with the same cube/cable, and it worked just fine (so it’s definitely not the cube or the cable).

How frustrating!

Fast charge your iPhone

Use fast charge with certain iPhone models. You can recharge your iPhone up to 50 percent battery in around 30 minutes.

You can fast charge your iPhone 8 and later up to 50 percent battery in around 30 minutes.

Fast charging works when you use an Apple USB-C to Lightning cable and one of these adapters:

Apple 18W, 20W, 29W, 30W, 61W, 87W, or 96W USB-C Power Adapter
A comparable third-party USB-C power adapter that supports USB Power Delivery (USB-PD)

If you're not sure which Apple Power Adapter you have, check the wattage on the top or bottom of the adapter:

Hi SravanKra,

THanks for the replied. while sometime when travelling not able to find power socket and use Power Adapter to charge my phone, so we will use PowerBank. My PowerBank brand Aukey and when iOS 15.3 is able to charge.

I'm using powerbank typ-C output + apple original cable type C to lightning

But unfortunately when upgraded to iOS 15.4 due to want to face unlock with mask function so i install it. Then nightmare happened.

My Phone cant charge anymore thru PowerBank type C + apple orignal cable type C to lightning, but the other USB output is functionable. Just little bit slow than type C fast charge.

Just wondering is that others got facing this kind of issue?
