Static sound and pink screen

My iPhone 12 Pro just made a static sound and the phone screen showed pink/ white pixels while on Instagram app and being plugged to the charger.

The phone is barely a year old and hasn’t had any water damage or been repaired.

I immediately unplugged the charger thinking it had something to do with it. After the phone being frozen with the pink screen for about a minute, it restarted on its own and the phone worked just fine.

Seems like this has been an ongoing issue since 2021 from what I found online.

Any one what is causing this? I’m afraid it could happen again.
