Can't sign out of Apple ID

iPhone XR

From Settings>iCloud+Feature Updates I get the message Verification Failed. There was a problem connecting to the server.

So far I have tried evrything I can find online including up to doing a full reset and restore twice. Once from iCloud, and once from my Mac.


Anyone have any ideas?

Try first to optimize the range of the mobile network, see this Apple article:

If you see No Service or Searching on your iPhone or iPad

If you see No Service or Searching on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support


Low Power Mode is On.

Charge the iPhone & wait until the battery is fully charged (100%).

The Low Power Mode will turned off automatically.


Try again.
