I have searched multiple times for an answer and the advice I have read hasn’t worked. I’ve updated, turned on and off messages on both devices and still have a syncing issue. Anyone have some other advice? TIA
Assuming that both your iPad and iPhone are signed-in to iCloud with the same AppleID, ensure that Messages in iCloud is enabled on both devices:
Settings > [Your Name / AppleID] > iCloud > Messages - set to ON
If the problem persists - and both devices have Messages in iCloud enabled - set to OFF on both devices, restart both devices, then reset to ON.
