I am in AZ (I've lived here for over 40 years so I'm not a new resident) and I have a valid AZ drivers license, all settings and updates are good. I have turned the phone off and on again as well, but there is no option in wallet for adding a state ID when I hit the + in wallet. How do I fix this so that I can add my state ID?

Make sure that your phone is up to date (Settings > General > Software Update).

Are you using the AZ app as described here?
I have tried several times to add my AZ driver license to my Apple wallet. All the scans, photos, face/head movements seem to go ok. And it submits ok. Within a few minutes I get a message that my license cannot be added, with no explanation as to why. Has anyone figure out how to get this process to work or have any ideas as to why mine is not? My phone is 13 Pro and it is up to date on iOS.
Yes. I have used that for a year or so. I thought it might be causing a conflict so I unlinked/deleted my driver license from that app. Then I tried a couple times to add license to Apple wallet, only to get the same message each time.

Not being in AZ, it’s hard to discern exactly what the AZDoT app does - or doesn’t - do.
So the app doesn’t allow you to “Add to Apple Wallet” … similar to how an airline’s app functions for boarding passes ?
