Iphone 13 - Business vs Primary Numbers

I only have one phone number. When I got a new iPhone 13 form an iPhone 8 all of a sudden I had Primary and Business numbers? Also I couldn't make some calls and text because I was using the Primary vs Business, even though they are the same number. Total confusing! Can I get rid of one of these and go back to the simple life???
