What if you don’t want to back up the phone and just restore

I just want to restore my phone without backing it up & the touchscreen just stopped working on a 2 year old 11 iPhone ? Joke

If you do not back the iPhone up, a restore will result in the loss of all data on that iPhone. However, if you have a regular backup schedule, you should have a current backup and you can just restore to that backup. If you don't care about the data, you can restore your device to factory, which will take the device back to an empty device.
