Clock Widget
Do you really have to manually change the time zone in the clock widget every time you travel? If the phone knows the correct local time and displays it automatically, why can’t the large widget do the same?

You might be using the "City" widget, rather than the "Clock" widget. The former is based on the time zone of a provided city, while the latter is adjusted to the current time.
When you are adding a widget to the Home Screen, swipe over to see more options.

You should not havre to set it manually. Tap on:
Settings > General > Date & Time
and enable "Set Automatically".
It has always had “Set Automatically” enabled, which is why I don’t understand why the larger clock face widget has to be set manually. When you select “Edit Widget” it says you can add a city, but no option to display local time automatically.

It says CLOCK underneath so it’s not the City widget.
