How do I backup MacBook before purchasing a new one?
I want to purchase a new MacBook Air. How and where do I backup my current MacBook (early 2015) so that I have all my applications and files to install on my new machine?
I suggest reinstalling applications rather than copying them from a backup. New hardware likeley requires new app configuration and drivers. New install will allow for the apps to be configured for the new hardware.
