icloud's monthly payment taken from unauthorised card

Like some others I've had icloud help itself to the small monthly storage payment from a completely different company's charge card without my authorisation. When I checked in itunes payments it was set to the correct bank but for some reason and god knows how, the payment was attempted from a completely different mastercard without my permission or action. There seem to be not only Apple's payment authorisations but googlepay, mobile phone payments and apple wallet are all separate and able to do things without permissions. Creepy. Anyone else had this and who reverses it?

Thanks for that, but there’s only one payment method in itunes and its not the one icloud took an attempted payment from suggesting they’re accessing mobile payments or applewallet to look for other cards. Google also did something similar three times on March 25. :(

Hello JB2426,

If you have more than one payment method on file, Apple will charge the second payment method if there is an issue charging the primary payment method. If you'd like to prevent this from happening, you would need to remove the second payment method. The following resource should help with this: Change, add, or remove Apple ID payment methods.

If you're part of a family sharing plan, the charges would come from the organizers payment method.
