Can I exchange a phone case after 14 days?

I bought a phone case two weeks ago, but I have not used it and decided to exchange it. However, I assumed I could exchange or return up to 30 days, and did not realise the policy had changed to up to 14 days. But I have not used the product, and simply want to exchange at my nearest Apple store, is that possible?
