Charging port

I notice there’s a white dot in my charging port recently , is that normal and is that the sign of the charging port has been damaged?

Since you do not indicate which version of iPhone you have, see this about the location of the Liquid Contact Indicators. Some of the older ones have the indicator in the lightning port area. Otherwise, it is difficult to say what else it may be. If this does not help, use the Get Support link at the top of the page here to contact Apple Support. If you have an Apple Store close by, use this link to make a Genius Bar appointment to have the hardware examined by Apple. They will explain your options.
