Problem with Notes

Hello all,

my Notes app is including the first line of the note with the title. Anyone know a fix for this? This applies to every Apple device I own.

Thanks,

-jvee

Hi -JVee,

Welcome to the Apple Community.

Am wondering if you need a "full stop" or a "return" after entering what you want as the title.

On iPhone:

Seems the first line of any note becomes the note’s title.

To choose a default style for the first line in all new notes, go to Settings  > Notes > New Notes Start With.

To experiment with the note formatting, tap Aa.

options: apply a heading style, bold or italic font, a bulleted or numbered list, and more.
