You'll need to transfer/delete data from your drive: Free up storage space on your Mac - Apple Support
Apparently your disk is too full. You need to know that when a disk gets too full it can lock up and stop working. I strongly suggest that you immediately install an external disk and transfer your files onto it as suggested above.
Give us a screen shot of the drive as per illustration below
