I have no "whoosh" sound for outgoing mail messages; I would like to. I have tried the F12 key (on the Touch Bar) both on and off and my tool bar shows sound is on. I am running MacOS 12.3 Monterrey on a MacBook 13 Pro. Any ideas what I'm missing? Thanks.

Not sure if this is the same in Monterey, but try: open Mail > Mail Menu > Preferences > General > check box for Play sounds for other mail actions.
