How do I get my phone to charge after emergency overheating message displayed
Hi Miamimiamia007,
Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities! If you are seeing temperature warning on your iPhone screen because it got too hot, you'll want to move the device to a cooler environment and allow it to cool.
If it has cooled down and you are still unable to get it to resume functioning, you can force restart your iPhone. To do this, press and quickly release the volume up, volume down button and then press and hold the side button until you see the Apple Logo.
Check out more information in the following resources:
If your iPhone won't turn on or is frozen
If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch gets too hot or too cold
Have a good one!
