How to change the color to a specific color

I need to change the color in the video background, I use color mask, but with sliders and curves hard to achieve a certain color, is there a way to get the color that I need by setting its parameters? (RGB/HSL/HSB/HEX)

Here's an example: I have the original video (the first one) and I want to change the background color to yellow (as in the second screenshot). The problem is that I find it hard to achieve exact color with built-in curves

Is the background on a separate clip?

If not, add a mask around the kitchen to get rid of the background and add a colour generator under the clip.

You will then have numerous ways to alter the colour using the Published Parameters. This should be easier than using curves.

You could even use a gradient generator though that may be somewhat OTT !
