I have two Dropbox folders on my macbook pro. is that supposed to be?

I am having trouble with Dropbox. It won't let me move files on my computer that are also stored in Dropbox. Is it possible that because I have two Dropbox folders that I am having this problem. One folder in the home folder (the one with the house icon and my name on it) and the other is in the Library. This is driving me nuts. I get a message saying if I move a file it will be deleted from both Dropbox and any of my devices.
