Apple Watch power

Are you sure WatchOS 8.5.1 fixed the power drain? Both my iPhone 13 PRO, iOS 15.4.1, and Apple Watch, OS 8.5.1, still deplete the battery very quickly. The watch will not run for more than six (6) hours; the phone is down to approximately 44% capacity at the end of the day. More than 48 hours have passed since the installation of the software "fix". I have turned off many services in both devices to no avail. Please fix this!

Hello renrutnagrom,

For concerns with Apple Watch battery life issues there are a few things to try out.

Start by restarting the Apple Watch and its companion iPhone:

Restart your iPhone

Restart your Apple Watch

Also, head on the Apple Watch itself to Settings > Battery, and double-check if was able to charge to 100% prior to usage for the day. Then, tap on the "Battery Health" option, and check what the Maximum Capacity is. If it's below 80%, then you may need to explore servicing.

Cheers.

Yes. All the recommended "fixes" have been tried. As stated in my original post, more than 48 hours passed, and the problem is still there. Many services have been disabled to reduce the "load" on the battery and, etc. Were I allowed to upload a picture, I could post several screen shots of the battery charge/discharge cycles. The latter ones show a very steep slope on the watch discharge.
