Apple Watch Rapid Power Drain after update to WatchOS 10
Ever since I "upgraded" my Apple Watch (series 5) to WatchOS 10(.0.1) or perhaps upgraded my iPhone 14 Pro Max to IOS 17(.0.3) my Watch is draining power at an unbelievable pace. I rebooted both devices more than once without improvement.
This all started a few days ago after the Watch update. Before I used to keep my watch on all day long and at the end of the day I still had a decent charge left. It hardly ever went into low power mode.
Now, around lunch time I am at < 40%.
I turned brightness down, stopped syncing of photos, uninstalled all apps, and I regularly make sure that all apps are closed.
Can anyone explain what might be going on?
Can I downgrade the Watch to WatchOS 9?
What else can I do?
