apple watch ios 11.0.1 battery drain and charging issues

After installing Apple WatchOS 11.0.1 watch battery drains very fast and when put on charger it not start charging. Needed to reboot and hard reset few times, turn off optimised charging, turn low power on and plain mode in order to start charging, But after 15-20 min charging stops and need to go over the above procedure again to start charging, and again after 15-20 min charging stops. Is this a BUG in IOS 11.0.1!??? And how can resolve this, as to install next update the watch needs to be on charger and have 50% battery full.
