Apple TV turns activates itself

My Apple TV turns itself on. The screen displays a four digit access code. As I am the only user and the Apple TV has a password, is a neighbor trying to access content?

Possibly. You may want to check your airplay settings.

If you're asked to enter an AirPlay password on Apple TV - Apple Support (CA)
