Apple TV turning on with airplay code which also triggers my TV to turn on several times in the middle of the night

Why did Apple make something like this possible? A stranger can easily engage my Apple TV 4K box to connect, sure they fail to, but they have essentially controlled an appliance in my home. They turned on my tv. This is ridiculous rather, absurd.

Set your AirPlay settings to only allow devices on the same network, and not allow other nearby devices.
