why is it taking so long to sign out of this apple id

i want to log into my other apple id but when i press sign out it just sits on the loading screen saying “copying icloud data”

If you are unable to sign out of iCloud, Restart your iPhone. Restarting can often help to resolve unexpected behaviors. Then, ensure that your iOS is up-to-date: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
