I followed the steps to go into recovery mode and managed to update with Catalina. But after updated, the same problem persists.

74% is not healthy and is to be expected in a 5½ year-old battery. Have the battery replaced and all will be well:

Hi, yea it's original battery. Capacity 42.4GB of 128 GB used.
After 4 hours of Apple logo looping, it just turned into my Home screen and it's working now.
Any idea what could be the problem?
Now that it's working, again, what's the Maximum Capacity % here?...
