When you purchase a book do you also get an audio book copy or do you have to purchase both an audio copy and a copy to read? If possible how does one redeem an audio version of the book they purchased or visa versa?

Yeah the “books” chapter of the user guide has a few suggestive terms, you can have the screen read anyway through the accessibility settings. This one was the same price for each and Amazon every now and then let’s you type a code into audible and get the audio book, or at least used to when I was running Android. Apple has much better forums, and actually treats you like a customer, thanks to the both of you for sharing your knowledge with me.
No, those two formats are always sold totally separately as far as I know.
Of course you don't. Audiobooks are about 3 times the cost of a digital book.
