So I uninstalled instagram to free up my iphone space (it's iphone 6 with ios 12.5.4). But when I want to install it again, app store said "open" instead of cloud icon like it used to be. And when I tap "open", it will show black screen and then back to home again. I cant find the app in my storage anymore. Anyone can help me please? Thank you!

It does show that the app is compatible for iOS 12.4 or later, Instagram on the App Store. In this case, you can try the steps under "How to redownload apps on iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch" in Redownload apps and games from Apple:
1. Open the App Store app.
2.Tap the sign-in button or your photo at the top of the screen.
3. Tap Purchased.
4. If you use Family Sharing, tap My Purchases or choose a family member’s name to see content that they purchased.
5. Tap "Not on this [device]."
6. Find the app that you want to download, then tap the download button
Learn what to do if you can't redownload the app. If you can't find the app on your device, use the App Library to find the app.
