No roaming with Apple Watch 7 in European Union

Dear Community,

I am an Apple Watch user. I currently use the Watch 7 with eSIM.

Since I live in Germany and we in Europe often travel to other countries of the European Union, I have to use roaming in other European countries.

Unfortunately, the Watch 7 with eSIM does not support roaming. And so I can't use eSIM on the Watch outside of Germany.

It's not because of the mobile provider either. I read up in the Apple forum that the Watch 7 does not support roaming.

Do you know if it is ever planned that the Apple Watch will support roaming?
