Won't allow delete

Why can't I DELETE any blocked phone numbers? I went to settings>phone>blocked contacts>edit. When I touch the minus sign next to a phone number, it only allows me to UNBLOCK the number. This isn't what I want to do. What gives?

Unfortunately, to keep the number blocked, it must remain on the list.

So you can only unblock a blocked number.
