I don’t want Face ID on my phone, delete from my messages

There is no “Reset Face ID” option. I have iPhone 12. I also don’t want to use Face ID.
Both of these are toggled off, and I’m still being promoted to set up Face ID with a notification in my settings.

We understand that you prefer not to use Face ID.

Turn off Face ID1. Go to Settings 
> Face ID & Passcode.2. Do one of the following:• Turn off Face ID for specific items only: Turn off one or more of the options.• Turn off Face ID for face masks: Turn off Face ID with a Mask.• Turn off Face ID: Tap Reset Face ID.
