Pair - There is a Problem with your Apple Watch

Hi,

I have a second hand Apple Watch Series 6 which I am trying to pair to my iPhone XR, and when pairing, it recognises that the Watch requires a software update, and in the process of doing that, I get a message that "There is a problem with your Apple Watch".

I have upgraded the software on the phone to 15.4.1 and reset the Apple Watch, and the same error occurs.

Sounds like there is something wrong with the watch you bought.

If that's the exact error message you're getting, either return it and get your money back or make an appointment at the Genius Bar to get it fixed/replaced.
